The category of Social Security includes widow beneficiaries, disabled beneficiaries, financially weak beneficiaries etc. The Social Justice and Empowerment Department (SJED) has various sub-departments for them, such as Director, Scheduled Caste Welfare, Director, Developing Caste Welfare, Director, Social Security etc. Many welfare schemes are run by this department.

 

Features of Divyang Bus Pass Yojana :

Gujarat ST for persons with disabilities through the Director Social Security. The bus pass scheme is run. In which this scheme has been implemented so that the disabled persons of Gujarat can easily go for further study, treatment, job, place of business or any other place. Under this scheme, disabled beneficiaries can travel free of cost in GSRTC buses within the state of Gujarat.




What Evidence of Required ?

A person with 40% or more disability benefits from this scheme.

Benefits According to the Percentage of Disability :

👉 Blind : People with 40% or more Disability will Benefit.and a Person with 80% or more Visual Impairment and his Assistant will ne Entitled to the benefit of Free Travel.

👉 Genetic Causes of Muscular Dystorphy : 40% or more will Benefit.

👉 Hearing Loss : 40% or more will Benefit those with a Disability. And a Person with 80% or more Visual Imairment and His Assistant will be entitled to the benefit of Free Travel.

👉 Chronic Neurological Condition : Has a Disability of 40% or more and a Person with 80% or more Visual Impairment and His Assistant will be Entitled to the benefit of Free Travel.

👉 Common Injuries Fatal Bleeding : 40% or More with Paralydis will Benefit.

👉 People with Low Vision : 40% or more will Benefit. And a Person with 80% or more Visual Impairment and His Assistant will ne Entitled to the Benefit of Free Travel.

👉 Muscular Stiffness : those will 40% Benefit. And a Person with 80% or more visual Imapairment and His Assistant will be entitled to the Benefit of Free Travel.

👉 Intellectual Disability : 40% more and With a Disability. the Assistant will be Able to Avail the Benefit of Free Travel.

👉 Reduced Himoglobin Level : They will be Benefir if the 40% or more paralyzed. And a Person with 80% or More Visual Impairment and His Assistant will be Entitled to the benefit of Free Travel.

👉 Multiple Disability : A Person with Multiple Diaability 40% or more has a Disability as Well as Themselves. his Assisatnt will be Entitled to 100% Free Travel.
