PM Modi holds meeting amid serious condition of Corona

 Vaccination in the state should not be slowed down

 Instructed to take medicine shortage and vaccination in the state

 The meeting reviewed the situation of corona in all the states of the country, along with the number of orders issued by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding drug shortage and vaccination campaign.

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave directions to the states

 The PMO said that detailed information about the Kovid outbreak in the states of the country was presented to the Prime Minister.  He was briefed on more than 1 lakh active cases in 12 states.  Along with this, the Prime Minister was briefed about the districts with the highest number of Corona cases.  The Prime Minister pointed out that the states should provide assistance and guidance on necessary aspects to improve the infrastructure of health services.

 In this important meeting of Prime Minister Modi, measures have been discussed to stop the movement of Corona and ensure measures with immediate effect.  PM Modi said a guideline was sent to the states to identify districts where the case positivity rate is 10 per cent or more or oxygen supported and ICU beds are more than 60 per cent full.

 Emphasis placed on increasing vaccine production

 The Prime Minister also reviewed the availability of medicines at the meeting.  He informed about the rapid growth in the production of drugs including Ramdesivir.  So reviewed the progress of the roadmap on vaccination and increasing vaccine production.


 The policy commission said it was considering a national lockdown option

 The Union Health Ministry has not given any details on the matter, but policy commission member VK Polle told a press conference on Wednesday that the option of a national lockdown was being considered.
