 Rainy weather is still prevailing in Valsad district for the third day in a row.  Megharaja is raining mindlessly.  However, the affected areas have been relieved as the intensity of rainfall in Uparvas has decreased.  Roads in the hinterland have been closed for two days due to continuous rains.  So it is the turn of the locals to suffer.  The causeway is submerged as the river recedes on the way to Mohanakavachali in Kaprada.  An estimated 500 to 600 people have lost contact due to heavy rains in the district.  So the surface of Madhuban Dam is at 71.50 meters.  In which flow is 12550 in and out flow 21085 cusec water.  Yesterday 7 gates of the dam were opened out of which 3 gates have been kept 2 meters open.

 The bridge connecting Amli Phalia at Nani Wahiyal in Dharampur has been submerged due to rains for three consecutive days in Valsad district.  In Kaprada and Dharampur, it is the turn of the people who are living in closed roads due to rains.  An estimated 500 to 600 people have lost contact due to heavy rains in the district.




 In Amdha village, rain water turned again on the causeway bridge at Zari Phalia

 Rain water has returned to the causeway bridge at Amdha village in Kaprada taluka.  Despite making representations every year to raise this causeway bridge, it is the turn of people living in administrative slumber to face many problems.  Villagers and motorists are risking their lives to cross the rainwater over the lodge.

 Megha has taken the form of thunder in South Gujarat.  Life in Valsad district has been disrupted due to heavy rains for the last three days.  Due to heavy rains, the Madhuban Dam in Valsad received an estimated 90,000 cusecs of water, opening seven gates of the dam up to three meters yesterday.  However, four of the seven doors have been closed today.  While the three doors are kept open for two meters.  Ghodapur-like conditions were created in the rivers due to heavy rains in Kaprada.  The people of Saat Phalia lost contact as the water of Sildha Chavache river of Kaprada turned back on the causeway bridge.
