 Delta Plus variant could bring third wave of corona: Scientists worried




The outbreak of the second wave of Corona epidemic in the country is steadily declining.  For the first time in three months, less than 50,000 daily cases of corona have been reported.  In addition, in 79 days, Corona's active cases have dropped below 7 lakh.  However, scientists who have reported 22 cases of Corona's Delta Plus variant in India, which has caused a wave of concern around the world, are worried and say that the Delta Plus variant is in danger of bringing a third wave in the country.  While the government said people have no reason to worry at present.  This variant has been seen in only three states so far.  However, according to scientists, the current delta variant is a cause for concern for India.

 The Ministry of Health said that the Delta variant is spread across 80 countries, including India, and is classified as a "variant of concern".  While the Delta Plus variant is currently available in only nine countries, including India.  There are 22 cases of Delta Plus reported in India.  Therefore, it is currently placed in the category of 'Variant of Interest'.

 In the country, 22 cases of Delta Plus variant have been reported in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala, out of which 16 cases are in Maharashtra.  At this point all three states are told how to deal with the Delta Plus variant.  We do not expect the Delta Plus variant to grow.  On the other hand, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that 21 cases of Delta Plus variant have been reported in Maharashtra, two in Mumbai and one in Thane.  The highest number of nine cases of Delta Plus variant has been reported in Ratnagiri, seven in Jalna and one each in Palghar and Sindhudurg.  As per the statement of Maharashtra Health Minister, 27 cases of Delta Plus variant have been reported in India.
