1. Where can I register for COVID-19 vaccination?
You can log into the Co-WIN portal using the link www.cowin.gov.in and click on the “Register/Sign In yourself” tab to register for COVID-19 vaccination.
2. Is there a mobile app that needs to be installed to register for vaccination?
There is no authorised mobile app for registering for vaccination in India. You need to log into the Co-WIN portal. You can also register for vaccination through the Aarogya Setu App.
3. Which age groups can register for vaccination on the Co-WIN portal?
At present, all citizens above 45 years of age can register for vaccination.
4. Is online registration mandatory for Covid 19 vaccination?
No. Vaccination Centres provide for a limited number of on-spot registration slots every day. However, it is recommended to register online and schedule vaccination in advance for a have hassle-free vaccination experience.
5. How many people can be registered in the Co-WIN portal through one mobile number?
Up to 4 people can be registered for vaccination using the same mobile number.
6. How can citizens with no access to smart phones or computers manage online registration?
Up to 4 people can be registered for vaccination using the same mobile number. Citizens can take help from friends or family for online registration. Facility for on-spot registration is also available.
7. Can I register for vaccination without Aadhaar card?
Yes, you can register on Co-WIN portal using any of the following ID proofs: a. Aadhaar card b. Driving License c. PAN card d. Passport e. Pension Passbook f. NPR Smart Card g. Voter ID (EPIC)
8. Is there any registration charge to be paid?
No. There is no registration charge.

These states have been either reporting a rise in the number of active cases — those who are hospitalised or are in home isolation under medical supervision, or demonstrating a rise in the daily new cases of coronavirus infections, news agency PTI reported citing the Union Health Ministry on Sunday.

With 45,209 new cases of coronavirus recorded on Saturday, new cases exceeded recoveries for the second time in three days, leading to a rise in active cases. So far, more than 90.95 lakh people have been found infected with the disease, the data updated by the Health Ministry at 8 am on Sunday said. Of these, about 4.4 lakh are currently active. A total of 501 fatalities were reported, taking the total death count is 1.33 lakh.

Gandhinagar: Corona virus cases are on the rise in the state and deaths are also occurring every day.  Gujarat has recorded the highest ever 4541 positive cases of corona in a single day while 42 more people have lost their lives due to this infection.  The death toll in Surat-Ahmedabad is also on the rise in cemeteries waiting for the funeral.


 42 people lost their lives in the state


 Surat has the highest number of 14 deaths due to Koro infection in the state.  Since then, 12 people have died in Ahmedabad.  4 people have also lost their lives in Vadodara.  3 in Rajkot, 2 in Vadodara rural, 1-1 in Bhavnagar, Chhota Udepur, Dahod, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Rajkot rural and Surat rural.


 Corona's record 1296 positive cases in Ahmedabad


 Ahmedabad has recorded the highest number of 1296 positive cases of corona so far.  In Surat city, 891 positive cases have come up.  340 positive cases have been reported in Rajkot, 256 in Vadodara city, 213 in rural Surat, 141 in Vadodara rural, 123 in Jamnagar Corporation, 118 in Patan, 98 in Jamnagar, 91 in Jamnagar, 74 in Mehsana, 74 in Banaskantha, 70 in Rajkot, 69 in Bhavnagar city and 48-48 in Kutch and Mahisagar.
